Systems Administrator job description
Pontis Corporation
is currently looking for a Systems Administrator for a full-time position. This
person has to have at least 5 years of experience in similar position. Working
in this position will provide ample opportunities for professional growth and exposure
to different technologies. This person will be based at our downtown Toronto
office.
Job/Duties/Deliverables
- Responsible
for 2nd level support on client issues and 1st level support on
internal issues;
· Providing server, network and service
troubleshooting and resolution
· Collaborating with other systems and database administrators
for problem resolution
· Liaising with third-party support and equipment vendors
· Setup and maintenance of backups and disaster
recovery plans both internally and for the clients
· Contributing and maintaining documentation and
knowledge base articles
· Participate in analyzing systems or problems having large or total
organizational impact
